Nia is an environmental engineer working at Brown and Caldwell (BC). She graduated from the University at Buffalo with a B.S. in Environmental Engineering and a B.A. in Biological Sciences. Nia became involved with LSMAP during her time in college where she found a great support system and opportunities to further explore her studies. At BC, Nia serves as deputy lead for the remediation service line, advocating for professionals with ten years of experience or less. She is also involved in environmental justice and equity efforts at BC. Nia enjoys practicing and teaching yoga, playing tennis, and learning new things.
