NALA(STEM) provides academic, social, and career guidance to underrepresented minority (URM) students in our network who are interested in pursuing careers in STEM. Mentors will meet regularly (virtually or in-person) with undergraduate students at least twice per semester.
Panels serve as an excellent avenue for undergraduate students to engage with LSAMP alumni. Virtual sessions with alumni can be focused (e.g. funding, career choices), or can be open Q&A's.
Graduating seniors, graduate students, networking professionals, LSAMP Alumni was designed as a community to continue the benefits of the program after graduation.
As LSAMP Alumni we are delighted to connect with current students and give back to our LSAMP institutions. For some programming such keynote speaking and professional development workshops, we ask that organizations provide alumni with stipends. More information on programming options and pricing
