Decatur Foster, Ph.D.

Dr. Foster has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Portland and a Ph.D. in Biology from Portland State University. Dr. Foster's dissertation focused on toxicology and fish physiology, looking at the effects of synthetic estrogen as an aquatic pollutant. Dr. Foster is currently working with BUILD EXITO at Portland State University, an NIH funded undergraduate research program that supports students interested in biomedical sciences. Dr. Foster is passionate about making science accessible to everyone, as well as conservation work in the Pacific Northwest.
